Oswaldo García & Chandler Lemmon: Traverse

This collaborative series by Chandler Lemmon and Oswaldo García brings together photo-collages produced in the darkroom using medium-format and half-frame negatives. Working through processes of layering and recombination, the images emerge from a shared navigation of Mid-Missouri as newly inhabited terrain.

The work moves between documentation and construction, where unfamiliar surroundings are not simply recorded but reconfigured. Through collage, the landscape becomes provisional, shaped by proximity, experimentation, and the gradual act of finding orientation within it.

Printed in risograph, the publication extends this process, introducing shifts in tone and texture that echo the material and exploratory nature of the work.
