Oswaldo García: Deep Blue

Deep Blue unfolds as a revisitation of a personal archive, bringing together instant photographs taken during a first encounter with New York City in 2010. Fragments of the city, late walks, and fleeting relationships are held as traces of a moment shaped by discovery and distance.

The title, drawn from a song by Arcade Fire, situates the work within a broader reflection on memory and return. Printed fifteen years later, the images shift from immediate record to mediated recollection, where time reframes both the city and the experience of it.
