A contact sheet is also a travel diary, a recount, a set of memories, moments that changed you, what inspires you: garbage and signs, landscapes and buildings, messages on walls with graffiti, great light, mistakes, and successes, the people you don’t want to forget, the places you want to remember.

The photos in Contact Sheet were taken on black and white film by Oswaldo García one week in January 2018. The journey began in Bedford - Stuyvesant in Brooklyn and wandered through streets, subway stations, parks, and more, using a Hasselblad 500c. This book is printed in risograph.
