Sneak Peak

Sneak peek

Sneak Peek is a first view from the archive of Roberto Ruiz Laverde, a Colombian architect and urban planner who, alongside his professional practice, was a prolific photographer. He documented over 3,500 images capturing the "hidden" life and events in Colombia during the 1970s and 1980s. This first public appearance of Roberto as a photographer reveals a subject who pursued tragedy, seeking out traffic accidents, fires, and people consumed by a city that grew, overshadowing its inhabitants. This book highlights the photographer's compositional intentions through holes that allow for a sneak peek into Roberto Ruiz's work.

Sneak peek
