They depict overconsumption, construction, and migration. In many ways, they describe both how I see the world and how the world has shaped me.

The images are taken at Østfold Kunstsenter in Fredrikstad, 2026.

The book is installed upon a table covered with a hand-knotted net composed of various found/used textiles, ropes, and cables: both domestic and marine. One of the textiles in the net — thin forest green bands with fading silkscreened texts — are used artworks (lanyards) gifted back to me by their previous owners. The lanyards, from 2022, read: I find myself simultaneously drawn to and repelled by the sheer quantity of man-made objects in this world.

The stars adorning the covers are recovered fromthe artist's local forest floor on Jeløya. She first found them and photographed them in the fall of 2023. They were dug out of the moss in the spring of 2024. Some of the edition do not have stars on the covers, but other golden and silver confetti gleaned from city streets after the snow melted in 2025.

The book was hand bound by the artist with linen thread. All the prints in the artwork are single-sided, printed on 150gsm Munken Premium Cream paper. Some of the pages in the book are adhered together with archival linen tape. The title, information, and colophon in each book are handwritten by the artist.

This book is 42 × 59.4 cm. / 16.5 × 23.4 in. when closed and 84 × 59.4 cm / 33.1 × 23.4 in. when open
