This artist book by Gabrielle Paré features an abstract and poetic ABCs that visually degrades as the reader progresses through the book. The text is further obscured and interspersed with images of retinas, floaters, and other visual disturbances. Written from the perspective of a future humanity that has made radical adaptations to preserve human thinking, AFTER IMAGE invites us to reconsider our present.
